HOW TO FIX YOUR POP-UP BLOCKERS

We recommend using the pop-up blocker that comes standard with Windows Internet Explorer and turning the other ones off.  Please note that when you make changes, you may need to shut down your Internet Explorer and then re-run it for changes to take effect.  It's also a good idea to clear your Temporary Internet Files on a regular basis.

Internet Explorer

Older Versions - Found under Tools in the menu bar at the top

Version 7.0 - Found under Tools at top right

Under Pop-Up Blocker Settings
Type obwebserver.caddoclerk.com and click the Add button
Type webserver.caddoclerk.com and click the Add button

Click the Close button to save changes.

TO TURN OFF OTHER BLOCKERS

The easiest way to do this is to simply disable all toolbars.  Right-click on any empty portion of your Internet  Explorer top toolbar.  You'll see a list of all your search toolbars with a check beside them if they're active.  Click on each one to uncheck it and completely turn it off.

If you want to keep your toolbars, here are some of the more common ones and how to turn off the pop-up blocker in each one.

GOOGLE

Older versions have an options button on the toolbar.

Newer versions have a settings button below the search box.

In the Toolbar Options box, click on the More tab.

Click on the box beside "Enable Popup Blocker" to uncheck it, then click the OK button

Yahoo

Click the down arrow beside the icon that shows a window with a shield

Click on "Enable Pop-Up Blocker" to uncheck it.

MSN

Click the down arrow beside "Pop-ups Blocked (#)"

Click "Allow Pop-ups" to turn off the blocker.

AOL 9.0 Software

Even though you may use Internet Explorer to view our images, you must turn off the blocker inside the AOL software itself.  To do so, run AOL, then pull up any webpage.  At the bottom right, click on the button that says "Blocking Pop-ups(#)" and choose the "Set Pop-up Control Preferences" option.

In the Pop-Up Control Settings window, click the circle beside "Allow all web pop-ups".

AOL Toolbar

Click on the button that says "Blocked: #".

It changes to this icon, meaning pop-ups are now allowed.

Norton Internet Security or Personal Firewall

Run the Norton program.  In the main window, click on the line that says "Ad Blocking".  Click on the button that says "Turn Off".

If you installed software for your Internet Service Provider (Comcast, AT&T, BellSouth, Earthlink, etc.), it may include a pop-up blocker.  Visit their website for instructions on turning off the blocker.

If you have a program that is specifically designed to block pop-ups, or if your Internet Security program or Virus Scan program includes a pop-up blocker, you will need to refer to your documentation for how to change the settings.

There are many other toolbars out there.  If you have one that is not shown above, visit their website for instructions on turning off the pop-up blockers.

When all else fails, try uninstalling all toolbars completely using Add & Remove Programs from Control Panel.
