Classes are now being held for Election
Commissioner-In-Charge Certification. To become a certified Election Commissioner-In-Charge, you must attend a
class and have the following qualifications:

You shall be a qualified voter in the parish in
which you are to serve and not entitled to assistance in voting.

You shall not be a candidate for election to
public office nor be a member of the immediate family of a candidate for
election to public office in the precinct in which you serve.

You shall not have been convicted of an
election offense.

You shall have successfully completed a general
course of instruction for commissioners-in-charge and provided your
correct party affiliation to the clerk.
-
You shall have served as a commissioner in at least
two elections during the last four years.

| DATE: Friday, November 21, 2008

| TIME: 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. |
| PLACE: Hamilton-South Caddo Library
|
You must be present for the entire class and take a written
test.
Pay is $250.00 for a Certified Commissioner-In-Charge for each election worked.

You may sign up for classes online, or call 318-226-6788
between 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday - Friday. A valid email address
or telephone number is required to sign up for a class online. We will make
every effort to place you in your first class choice, but as class size is
limited, please choose an alternate as well.
If you have a firewall or e-mail security program, please
make election@caddoclerk.com a safe
sender so that the reply confirming your school will go through.
You will
receive either an email or telephone confirmation of your class date. If
you do not have an email address, please enter "election@caddoclerk.com"
in the E-mail address field below so the form will go through properly.
